Services & Pricing
Shawn Keding Photography specializes in family photography, engagement sessions, maternity portraits, youth sports action photography, and fine art portraits. Each session is tailored to capture authentic moments that tell your unique story.
Shawn Keding Photography is based in Wilmington, North Carolina and Boca Raton, Florida. Sessions are available throughout the Southeast United States, and destination photography is available upon request.
Photography packages start at $1,200 for the Heritage Session (family and maternity), $1,800 for the Love Story Session (engagement and couples), $2,200 for the Action & Glory Package (youth sports), and $3,500+ for the Signature Experience (full-day premium coverage). Each package includes edited digital images and a print release.
Session lengths vary by package: Heritage Sessions are 90 minutes, Love Story Sessions are 2 hours, Action & Glory coverage is typically 3-4 hours per event, and Signature Experience includes full-day coverage. This allows ample time to capture natural, unrushed moments.
The number of delivered images depends on your package: Heritage Session includes 40+ edited images, Love Story Session includes 60+ images, Action & Glory Package includes 100+ action shots, and Signature Experience includes 150+ images. All images are professionally edited and delivered via private online gallery.
Booking & Policies
Booking is easy! You can send an inquiry through the website contact form, email keding.shawn@gmail.com directly, or call/text (828) 384-7297. Shawn personally responds to all inquiries to discuss your vision and check availability.
For best availability, booking 4-6 weeks in advance is recommended. Peak seasons (fall family sessions, spring engagements) and weekend golden hour slots fill quickly. Maternity sessions should be booked in the second trimester to ensure availability.
Life happens! Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no additional charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may forfeit the deposit. Weather-related rescheduling is always accommodated at no cost.
Yes! Shawn is available for destination sessions throughout the United States and internationally. Travel fees vary by location and include transportation and accommodation costs. Destination sessions are perfect for elopements, family reunions, or capturing memories in meaningful locations.
Session Preparation
Wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors and soft textures photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, and neon colors. Coordinate with your group without being too matchy. Shawn provides a detailed style guide after booking to help you prepare.
Absolutely! Personal props that are meaningful to you add authentic character to your photos. Pets are welcome and encouraged—they're family too! Just let Shawn know in advance so the session can be planned accordingly.
Weather is closely monitored leading up to each session. If rain or severe weather is expected, Shawn will reach out to reschedule at no additional cost. Overcast days often provide beautiful, soft lighting that's perfect for portraits—so light clouds are not a concern!
After Your Session
Edited images are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks via a private online gallery. Rush delivery is available upon request for an additional fee. You'll receive a sneak peek of 3-5 images within 48 hours of your session.
Yes! All packages include a print release so you can print anywhere. Shawn also offers museum-quality prints, custom-designed albums, and gallery-wrapped canvas prints through a professional print lab. These make beautiful heirloom pieces and gifts.
